While the Chamber’s primary focus is to support local business, we are also fortunate enough to be the home of Nebraska’s third largest employer Offutt AFB . Each year we meet at Willow Lakes to celebrate and support our significant partnership.

Salute to Bellevue/Offutt

May is traditionally Military Appreciation Month, therefore we get together for lunch to Salute the Bellevue/Offutt partnership. The leadership of our largest employer, Offutt Air Force Base, gives a briefing on the status and activity of the Offutt.

Operation Holiday Cheer

Every year the Bellevue-Offutt business community supports Operation Holiday Cheer with generous financial contributions. Business support allows for the packing of 1000 holiday gift bags for the young airmen and women living in the dorms on base. The enlisted living in the dorms often do not get to go home for the holidays and these gift bags send a message of appreciation and holiday cheer. All contributions are recognized on a special holiday card included in every gift bag. Contributions must be made to the Bellevue Economic Enhancement Foundation the Bellevue Chamber’s 501(c)3 Foundation.
