US HWY 34 Bridge Ground Breaking

An historic event to be certain, the ground breaking for the new US Hwy. 34 Missouri bridge has been a project under construction since 1991. The ground breaking will be held on the Iowa side of the Missouri River at exit 35 off of I29.

IRS Requests Public Input on Expanded Information Reporting Requirement

You may have received notice from the IRS regarding new paperwork burdens imposed on business resulting from a new mandate buried in the health care law. Unless the section is repealed, businesses will be subject to new data collection and information filing on virtually all business-to-business transactions. This new mandate is in the health care bill as an unrelated “pay for” and we believe should be rescinded.
