Workforce Programs
The goal of the Chamber's Workforce Development Center is to ensure that an available
labor-force with the skill and education levels necessary to meet employment demands
of the 21st century is produced and retained within Eastern Sarpy County.
The efforts of Workforce Development are focused on a wide range of actions that
have the potential to impact both short-term and long-term workforce issues, and
on persons who are either in the workforce or who will enter the workforce in one
to five years.
A targeted recruitment effort focuses on expanding the availability of skilled workers
in Bellevue and Eastern Sarpy County and concentrates on locating sources of potential
workers throughout the country and communicating the information on these sources
to new and expanding companies.
